C. Presentation Materials ~ Expectations and Outcomes

1. Prepare materials for a presentation that will be usable in a Wimba environment. This presentation (ppt) should be based on information gathered from the required course text and other resources on your assigned category or class of learning theory/theories.

2. The presentation should adhere to good principles of visual design of electronic presentations. A guide will be provided by your professor.

3. The presentation materials should have at least 10 slides excluding the title/opening slide. Fifteen slides is a maximum acceptable number. The content of the slides should be used as talking points and not read in verbatim.

4. The presentation should include a handout containing 10-15 peer-reviewed articles in accurate APA (6th edition) format. These articles should be about research based on the learning theory/theories.

D. Virtual Presentation ~ Expectations and Outcomes

1. All group members should be involved in the virtual presentation.

2. During the presentation, the presenters are required to engage the audience (i.e., members of this class). There should be interactivity facilitated by the presenters. A short online activity that include audience participation should be part of the presentation.

3. The presentation should be at least 20 minutes and should not be more than 30 minutes from beginning to end. The group will receive deduction for not following this direction.
